The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock Questions.

  1. Prufrock wants to profess his love to this woman, but is conflicted when he is confronted by his self loathing and is terrified of rejection.
  2. He feels overwhelmed by his self conscience thoughts and is uncertain about whether or not he should confess his love.
  3. He thinks that he is scrawny, has bad body image, and feels unworthy of love.
  4. Purfrock's internal journey starts with himself arguing with himself about going to this party. He is saying really good reasons why he should go, but them comes up with silly excuses not to go. These excuses are coming from his self loathing and bad body image. He feels that he is wimpy, and ugly and he wishes he was a crab at the bottom of the sea. I ends up still arguing with himself about going to this party. He wants to fin love but isn't sure if he is worthy and is scared of rejection.
